With Arrow going strong and heading straight into its third season, the CW network is hoping lightning will strike twice with next its DC Comics superhero series. Warner Bros. Television and DC Entertainment are teaming up to premiere The Flash at San Diego Comic-Con.

Comic-Con attendees will be viewing the full-length pilot of the Arrow spinoff Saturday night, July 26. Cast members and producers are scheduled to attend the screening. Lucky convention-goers will probably be watching the super speedster along with its main star, Grant Gustin.

Though the full panel line-up for this year's Comic-Con has been announced yet, we can be sure it's going to be a dozy. Details are expected to come out shortly since the event is just a few weeks away. With word-of-mouth growing about this highly anticipated TV show, you can predict every seat will be fill out.

As already explained here, there are many reasons to be excited about the live-action TV series. With the return of the '90s Flash in the cast, viewers will see John Wesley Shipp back in the fold as Barry Allen's father. Danielle Panabaker, Candice Patton, Tom Cavanagh, and Jesse L. Martin have even teased what their characters are supposed to be.

The real questions is, will the show gain momentum with its Comic-Con premiere? Will the Comic-Con audience be wowed by the story, the cast, and the special effects? Will those same viewers return when the pilot officially airs? Here's hoping lightning will indeed strike.
