Former 'Transformers' Actor Shia LaBeouf Not In Rehab But Seeks Treatment For Alcohol Addiction [PHOTOS] Reveal Actor Carrying "AA" Books

Shia LaBeouf has been going crazy lately, and is not in rehab as reports have revealed, but getting treatment for alcohol addiction. 

According to TMZ, the actor's rep revealed that the rumored reported of Shia entering a rehab facility are not true. The rep claims that Shia's outrageous behavior over the last few months is due to alcohol addiction, and is is aware of it. 

With these new details being released, it appears that the former Transformers star is seeking help in a 12-step program. Shia's rep says "he has taken the first of many necessary steps toward recovery."  

MStars News previously reported that Shia was arrested after attending the Broadway show Cabaret last week, after the 28-year-old was smoking inside the theater and engaging in other bizarre behavior. The actor was charged with two counts of disorderly conduct and one count of criminal trespassing.

Another star acting in bizarre behavior related to this story, is singer Erykah Badu.  The soul superstar made an epic appearence in local news when she walked up on the camera as Pix11′s Mario Diaz was covering a live newscast over the weekend, about Shia's arrest. The singer was seen leaning in for a kiss and was rejected by the reporter.
