90s Singer And Member Of Hi-Five, Russell Neal In Police Custody After Confessing To Stabbing His 24-Year-Old Wife, Fitness Model, Brasilia Martinez

MStars News has learned that a member of the hit 90s boy band group, Hi-Five was arrested Wednesday after entering into a Texas police station confessing that his wife was dead, and that he needed to lawyer up.

Russell Neal, 40, is currently being held under a $100,000 bond, according to NY Daily News, no charges have been filed just of yet, TMZ said.

Neal a member of Hi-Five, would have two smash hits including, I Like the Way (The Kissing Game), making number one in 1991, and just one year later gained another hit with, She's Playing Hard to Get.

Now the 40-year-old is facing murder charges after authorities found 24-year-old Catherine Martinez dead inside of the couple's Houston apartment.

Martinez, an inspiring boxer, and fitness model was found with stab wounds and blunt force trauma, after Neal claimed the two had been involved in an argument.

A witness described the incident to KTRK.

"He wasn't resisting arrest or fighting with them, or saying anything. When they brought him out in handcuffs, he was just as calm as can be and they just put him in a police car," Mary Alice Valencia, a bond office worker said.

Neighbors thought the couple were happy, but one man suspected different.

"Apparently a guilty conscience, a guilty conscience, a crime of passion," neighbor, Keenon Shufford revealed to KTRK. "You just never know, I think he just probably lost it."

Martinez was described by neighbors as very beautiful, and she indeed was a gorgeous girl by the looks of her photos, via Facebook.

Martinez went by Brasilia Martinez in the modeling world. One friend dedicated a post to the dead model.

They wrote, "Still can't believe this but RIP @brasiliamartinez1990 gone way too soon . One of the realist people i knew with a strong work ethic and dope personality . Thank you for believing in me."

Martinez has two sons, it is unknown at this time if the boys belong to Neal.

This marks the second tragedy for the 90s group. In 2007 the band's lead singer, Tony Thompson died from inhaling freon.
