Kathy Bates might be one of the best horror actresses in the world, starring in classic scary films such as Misery, but last year she got to reintroduced herself to a whole new generation to frighten when she took on the role of Madame LaLaurie in American Horror Story.

Brace yourselves, because the original "Queen of Scream" is going to be back for the all-new season of the hit FX series and she is teasing some juicy information about her the setting as well as her new character.

"It's in the late 1950s in Jupiter, FL, and I know what my character looks like, but I don't know anything else about her," the actress revealed to Buzzsugar when they caught up with her at the premiere of her new film Tammy.

"In fact, I've just gone to costume fittings, and we're still developing the character," Bates added. "I haven't seen the script yet, and we start shooting in the middle of July, so time's a-wastin'!"

While Kathy might not know the specifics about her character, there is one cast member who revealed who she'll be playing on her Twitter account a few weeks ago. Mstars broke the news that Sarah Paulson would be playing a two-headed woman in the latest installment, after the actress tweeted a photo revealing what she'll look.

"I mean, I'm surprised that Sarah Paulson came out with that she has two heads," Kathy explained. "I was like, 'What?!' But I think it's Ryan who disseminates that information when and where he wants to. I know he's talked about the fact that we're a freak show, and we're sort of in the last days of the freak show."

Catch Kathy and the rest of the American Horror Story gang when the new season premieres this fall on FX.
