If Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez are still dating after getting back together for yet another time this year, they sure weren't acting like it on July 4 as the two of them celebrated separately and with flirtation allegedly on their minds. Bieber partied on a yacht with some security guards and friends while Selena hung out in Malibu, reportedly "checking out guys," too!

"She was in bright spirits. She was happy to be near the beach," a source said, according to gossip website HollywoodLife.com, adding that Gomez was "checking out guys with her friend."

While we're not too sure about Selena actually checking out random dudes in Malibu, we can assume she had a good time thanks to the posts she uploaded to her Instagram account on Independence Day.

Meanwhile, reports of Justin and Selena's relationship falling apart have been piling up these days, so we're hoping that Miss Gomez is having a good time rather than focusing on any heartbreak that could be occurring. Justin, on the other hand, has reportedly been texting and partying with other ladies, including Chantel Jeffries!

"The whole drama between Sel and Justin started when she saw three text messages between him and Chantel. He promised that they were just friends but when she read the texts from Chantel, Selena was like, 'No way,' because they were so flirty - like, 'Babe, I miss you' with little heart emojis," an alleged friend of Selena said. "Justin basically freaked out that she went through his cell phone, and he said he could do whatever he wanted. Sel feels like she just can't trust him and has the sick feeling inside that he's isn't being faithful."
