Liam Hemsworth Rants About Miley Cyrus - 'Hunger Games' Star TalksBreak-Up WIth Ex 'Bangerz' Singer

When it comes to celebrity breakups none is more heartbreaking then that of Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth.

The couple seemed like a match made in heaven when they began dating in 2009, but they ended up calling it quits last year after four years of dating.

However, despite that devastating split the New York Post is claiming that there might be hope for the two. While Liam was out getting dinner with some friends at the Italian restaurant Puny, in Portofino, Italy, he was overheard saying some pretty nice things about his former flame.

The entertainment news site is claiming that a bystander heard him say that him and Miley would, "always be best friend," and that they had "an instantaneous and powerful connection," with one another.

"Liam kept raving about how amazing she was, how much they clicked and understood everything about each other," the source also claims. "He also said they bought a lot of furniture but he had to leave it behind when they broke up and he got his new place, which was furnished."

It wasn't just Miley that the Hunger Games star was ranting about though, he also poked fun at his brother Chris Hemworth saying, "I hope he gets a job soon."

Chris is managing to stay busy as he is currently filming for the new movie Avengers: Age of Ultron.

As for what Miley thinks of the relationship, she told Barbara Walters back in 2013 that after the relationship ended she could "actually be happy."

The "We Can't Stop" singer goes on to explain, "I don't ever want to have to need someone again, where you feel like, without them, you cant be yourself."
