It's been a long Grand Slam drought for Novak Djokovic, however he ended it in style, winning his Wimbledon final against veteran Roger Federer. The tennis star has been alongside the very best, but seemed to lose the ability to win the big game, however he was able to gain the five-set victory. Perhaps The Big Bang Theory star Jim Parsons, who plays Sheldon Cooper, brought him luck, as the star was pictured watching some of the action over the last week, including the final. Can Novak carry on this form, or was this a one off 'Big Bang?

Novak, 27, wont 6-7 (7-9) 6-4 7-6 (7-4) 5-7 6-4, winning his second Wimbledon title, and his seventh Grand Slam title. He has now moved to the No.1 in the world ahead of Rafael Nadal. After winning, Novak said "After losing the fourth set it wasn't easy to go on and win the fifth set, I don't know how I did it. This is the best tournament in the world and the one I always wanted to win so to be able to compete at such a high level I am so grateful."

Will Federer, Nadal and Andy Murray bounce back from their poor showing this month, and fight their way back to Djokovic's place as No. 1, or will the Serbian star reign supreme for a long, long time?
