Leah Remini, Andy Cohen, Scientology: ‘King Of Queens’, 'Saved By The Bell' Star Reveals Drinking Is The Best Thing About Leaving Church On Bravo’s ‘Watch What Happens Live’ [WATCH]

King of Queens star Leah Remini left the Church of Scientology just last year. Now, she's telling Bravo's Andy Cohen the "best thing" about ditching the religion –– she can drink every other day!

The actress recently made an appearance on Cohen's Watch What Happens Live and was asked what the best thing about leaving was. "The worst part [about Scientology] was I couldn't drink every other day and best part [about leaving] is that I can drink every other day," Remini joked as she lifted her glass and took a sip of red wine. 

While the comment was in good-hearted fun, the former Saved By The Bell player made another appearance on ABC's Good Morning America the very same day, and expressed that she's still attempting to manage life after separating from Scientology and the number of friends she lost in doing so.

She said, "You look through your phone [and] you're like, 'Oh I can't call this person.' But you know, as we were in that time of loss and grief, still sad we lost our friends, we also have to look at what we do have."

Remini continued with, "We have a great family. We have great friends still in our lives."

The actress publicized leaving the Church of Scientology back in July of 2013 after she questioned the actions of David Miscavige, the church's leader. She told Buzzfeed, "They didn't care about doing the right thing. That showed me everything the Church taught me was a lie."
