The women's bantamweight division at UFC has just been given a surprising jolt to their fighting system. The Ultimate Fighting Championship organization has announced they are officially signing former world boxing champion, Holly Holm, to their MMA league.

UFC President Dana White took to his official Twitter to make the announcement. In the twitter photo, the entrepreneur is holding what looks like to be mixed martial artist's signed contract. Next to his beaming smiles, we see the 18-time world champion boxer doing one of her high-kicks.

Check out the strong muscles and tones abs on the well-built kick-boxer. Anticipation is already growing for the skilled martial artist. Who is the UFC planning on pitting against Holm? What fighter is willing to take on the 32-year old champ?

The candidate most likely is probably Rhonda Rousey. As reported here, during the UFC 175 event, Rousey delivered her fastest career finish, taking down her opponent, Alexis Davis, in a matter of 16 seconds. With Rousey in the midst of her knee surgery, everyone is wondering who will be her next potential challenger at UFC 176 on August 2.

The Albuquerque native holds an impressive 33-2-3 boxing record. With six wins by knockout under her belt, I'm hoping this match will last more than 16 seconds. Let's cross out fingers and hope the UFC is letting to their fans' reactions.

The UFC has signed on Holly Holm to their league. Readers, are you excited to see a potential Holm vs. Rousey match?
