Say it isn't so.

American Horror Story has revealed a new teaser trailer for it's newest installment Freakshow, but it appears that it is a fake.

FX has confirmed that the new trailer was not produced by them but rather by a very talented fan.

Watch the teaser trailer here.

Shock Till You Drop News also confirmed the fraudulent trailer on their Twitter page writing, "Sorry gang, that American Horror Story: Freakshow teaser has proven to be an elaborate fan-made piece. Frustrating..."

The teaser clip features none of the series regular stars but rather a "fallen angel" on what looks like a carnival stage. As the celestial being starts to rise from the stage, viewers see that she is being controlled by a scary as heck clown that is using her like a puppet.

The trailer is so intricate and in the same vein as other teasers that have been released for prior seasons that we are actually in shock that it's fake.

The new season will take place in the 1950's in Jupiter, Florida as star Jessica Lange goes to drastic measures to save her dying carnival "freakshow." Aside from Lange, some other familiar faces will also be returning including Sarah Paulson, Kathy Bates, Frances Controy, Evan Peters, Angela Bassett, and Emma Roberts.

Details for the series have been kept under wraps but what we have learned is that Paulson will play a two-headed woman, while newcomer Michael Chiklis will play the "strongman."

Catch the new season of the show when it premieres this fall.
