Selena Gomez Instagram Comment - 'Slow Down' Singer Calls-Out Fan On Social Media Site After Rude Cancer Remark

Selena Gomez bashed a "fan" on Instagram over the weekend after they left a very hurtful message on one of the singer's photo that featured the words "Gomez" and "cancer" in the same sentence.

The 21-year-old singer reached out to the rude follower and took a screenshot of the comment she left telling the commenter how "distasteful and "absurd" her words were.

Gomez posted the snapshot to her Instagram account with the caption, "Honestly, I don't speak up much because it's simply *always* taken out of context. But I don't take bullying well. I have seen too much to not say anything."

In the conversation, Gomez began by saying, "The comment you left about cancer was absurd. How distasteful of a young woman."

"I have gone through that battle with fans and family members," Selena continued. "You can dislike someone but to wish something that could happen to you or your family is uncalled for sweetheart. You won't be winning 'anyone's' heart that way. Trust me."

She concludes by telling the follower, "educate yourself a tad more. God bless love. Be an amazing woman. You're beautiful."

Selena tends to ignore these types of bullying comments but it seems that this one crossed the line.

After posting the image of the conversation, Selena has got nothing but love from her fans. One of them writes, "As you should, stand up for what's right," while another says, "You're queen Selena. If only there were more people like you in this world, love you."

The commenter has since deleted her account.
