With his final appearance coming up at the All-Star Game, Derek Jeter celebrates his last year with a new Jordan Brand commercial. In the star-studded ad spot, celebrities, such as Jay-Z and Tiger Woods, tip off their hat and show 're2pect' to the New York Yankees captain.

After earning five World Series rings, the celebrated baseball player is officially retiring from the American sport. With his 20th and last season upon us, fans are lining up across the streets for tickets while teammates and opponents are getting ready for the end. There's no better way to honor Jeter's defining sports record with a swanky ad.

The video opens with the camera following the Yankees shortstop from behind. As the sports star steps onto the mound, we get an extreme close-up of his Jordan shoes. Before he is about to throw the ball, the pitcher from the opposing team tips his hat.

We focus in on the cheering crowd and spot a few well known faces in their seats. When the Big Apple needed a win badly, there was Jeter and his teammates saving the day. That's why the city's very own residents, Spike Lee and ex-Mayor Rudy Giuliani, nod in recognition.

In the bar, sullen Boston Red Sox fans even show respect to the megastar. The New York Mets players, with their faces blurred, even join in on the fun. Before the last shot, Michael Jordan, who knows a thing or two about retirement, shows up to honor the player.
