Bobby Brown's Character In New Whitney Houston Biopic Revealed, Arlen Escarpeta Will Star In Lifetime Movie Along Side Yaya DaCosta

Do you think Arlen Escarpeta is good enough to play the late Whitney Houston's husband, Bobby Brown? If looks could tell then we'd have to say, just wait and see. Despite our recent story of America's Next Top Model, Yaya DaCosta looking just like Houston, we want to know if you feel that her co-star looks like Brown.

Lifetime has decided to move forward with the production of the Whitney Houston biopic, despite how the family feels. Photos of the exciting new film are starting to emerge and we hope that everyone in Houston's family loves what they see. 

DaCosta's photo was released first as she posed like the late singer, recreating the famous cover of Houston's 1987 album, Whitney. Now, this week new photos of DaCosta have been released with her co-star, Escarpeta.

In the image, Escarpeta, is wearing a blue tank top and baggy jeans. Although his hair is seen curly, it is done similarly to Brown's famous high top fades, in which he wore in the late 80′s and 90′s.

Sources like, Perez Hilton claims Escarpeta looks are "too innocent" to play the role of the "bad boy," New Edition singer, but with his history in acting we are sure that his talents will out weigh the comparisons of his looks to Brown's.

Arlen has appeared in a multiple TV shows, and films, including, Final Destination 5, Brotherhood, Friday the 13th,Boston Public, The Shield,and more.
