Now that filming for True Blood is over, lead actress Anna Paquin has made a dramatic beauty transformation and has gone from blonde to... mermaid?
That's right, Paquin has dyed her hair purple and blue with touches of turquoise and sea foam green. She posted a photo to Twitter with the caption, "@Auracolorist just fulfilled my teen dream of being a mermaid. @_smoyer whatcha think?"
Loving hubby and True Blood co-star Steven Moyer quickly replied, "@AnnaPaquin @auracolorist Wow wife... You look amazing. #sookie is no more :( Long live Mrs Emery...!Xx #TrueToTheEnd #tbs7 #trueblood."

Paquin also appeared on the Seth Meyers show yesterday and talked about her final days on the True Blood set. She said, It's completely surreal, it's really sad that this whole group of people who have been together so long - I mean, we'll all be friends, but we'll never be together in the same way. We did a lot of crying and hugging."
She continued, "By the time we were done, the power had been shut off in my trailer already and I couldn't even find my clothes," she recounted. "I went in and I was like, 'Wow, I guess we're really done."
For one of the final episodes Anna had to put on costume for a flashback scene from season one. What did she notice that was different about her body seven years later?
"It turns out that pre-baby tits are so much bigger than post-baby tits," she told Meyers.
Myers quipped, "Let me just say, this is the cleanest episode of 'True Blood' you've ever seen."
