Selena Gomez New Tattoo [Instagram Photos]: NYC Ink Artist Bang Bang Dishes On Justin Bieber's Ex-Girlfriend's New Body Art - 'Love Yourself First'

Selena Gomez got a new tattoo recently and celebrity tattoo artist Bang Bang was the man behind the ink. He's tattooed everyone from Cara Delevingne, Rita Ora, Rihanna, Demi Lovato, and Selena's ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber. Now the New York City artist dishes on Gomez's new body art, which is a phrase in Arabic that translates to "Love Yourself First." Is this Selena's way of dealing with her recent break up?

According to a recent interview with E! News, Bang Bang inked Selena about a month ago, explaining, "she had been wanting this one for a while."

"Its meaning translates to 'Love Yourself [First],'" the celebrity favorite tattoo artist said. "Selena already had it written out how she wanted. The tattoo is about 4 inches, and didn't take too long, probably about 30 to 45 minutes. The longest part is laying it out. We played with it a bit laying it out, until we found the perfect spot."

He added: "She loved it; she flipped out!"

As far as considering this her way of dealing with her Bieber drama, Bang Bang wouldn't say. He's Justin's friend as well, so he's probably not going to get in the middle of this gossip.

Apparently, Selena hooked Bang Bang up with Justin, who now is covered in ink by the artist.

"When we did that one, she was talking about another one," Bang Bang said. "But we haven't talked plans just yet. There are always plans to do another one."
