The Big Bang Theory is one of the most popular shows on television by a wide margin and recently received a renewal for three seasons that will carry the show through the end of Season 10. With all this good news for the show, there's just one small problem. The cast doesn't have contracts for Season 8, which airs starting this fall.

Fortunately, CBS boss Nina Tassler is not worried. "I just love being able to answer these questions year after year, primarily because we have successful shows," she said at the 2014 TCA Summer Press Tour, according to E! Online.

The boss also expressed optimism that deals would get done. "We're feeling very confident that everything will work out," Tassler said. "These deals manage to get done miraculously somehow year after year."

Jim Parsons, Kaley Cuoco and Johnny Galecki are reportedly in talks together and should return for the new season, according to E! Online. Deadline reports the trio could receive up to $1 million per episode in their new deals. Melissa Rauch and Mayim Bialik, who joined the show later in its run, got new deals last year.

The hit sitcom also stars Simon Helberg and Kunal Nayyar and is scheduled to return for Season 8 on Monday, Sept. 22 at 8 p.m. The show aired on Thursdays last season.

Are you surprised these cast members do not have deals in place? Do you think the two sides will have any problems coming to terms before production begins on Season 8? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
