Miley Cyrus did NOT die of a tragic drug overdose. Just another morbid Facebook scam!

UPDATE: Miley Cyrus 'Missing' After Death Hoax?

A FAKE video link is currently going viral on the popular social media site, with a shocking caption that reads:

"{SHOCKING) Miley Cyrus Found Dead in Her Los Angeles Home! Country singer Miley Cyrus found overdosed this afternoon in her Los Angeles home" (via The Epoch Times).

But the post is likely malware - so don't click out of curiosity!

The 21-year-old Bangerz beauty is still alive and well. Still, several fans continue freaking out on Twitter:

@KrisC__: "I really hope the rumor about @MileyCyrus being dead is a lie. Wtf."

@__Sunshinelouis: "OK SO IS MILEY CYRUS DEAD OR NOT COS IM PANICKING."

@_karinaa___: "Miley Cyrus dead? That's pathetic what the media comes up with these days."

@BoltonTerrier: "Time to clean up my facebook. Britain first, Malaysian air "footage" and a dead Miley Cyrus. No ta..."

@ForeverMcKenzie: "Please stop saying Miley Cyrus is dead, she's not."

Lying about a disturbing drug overdose... not really funny.

In fact, Cyrus was just nominated for an MTV Video Music Award for her hit tune, "Wrecking Ball."
