Arrow Season 3 Spoilers: Brandon Routh as The Atom, Deadshot's Return and More

Production on Season 3 of the CW's Arrow is underway and fans are gearing up for the returns of their favorite characters, as well as some new faces who are joining the show. One of those returning characters is Michael Rowe, who portrays the sniper Deadshot.

Rowe stopped by Arrow's production offices and posted the Twitter photo at the top of the page with the caption, "Great to see everyone at @ARROWwriters today...Except for this guy. #Deadshot still owes you one." So it seems as though Deadshot and the Emerald Archer will cross paths yet again in Season 3.

Emily Bett Rickards, who plays Felicity on the show, also gave fans their first look at Brandon Routh as Ray Palmer aka The Atom with the following Instagram photo:

And finally, Ray Palmer's wife in the comics is Jean Loring, who appeared as Moira Queen's defense attorney last season on Arrow. Routh is 34, while the actress who played Jean, Teryl Rothery, is 51. Executive producer Marc Guggenheim told GreenArrowTV the show must bend a little bit to get around this age gap.

"I'll tell you this: Jean Loring has already been on the show, and if he was involved with that Jean, there would be a bit of an age difference," he said. "We will be acknowledging the Jean Loring that appeared in the beginning of Season 2 as Moira's attorney, in the context of Ray Palmer, just not as boyfriend and girlfriend."
