Ariana Grande Keeps Her Grandfather's Death A Secret From 'Big Brother' Star Frankie Grande; Brother Of The Singer Finally Told By Producers Of His Grandpa's Passing [VIDEO]

After MStars News learned the sad news of the death of one of Ariana Grande's relatives, TMZ revealed that Big Brother producers were keeping the news a secret from Grande's brother, Frankie who is on the show.

We previously reported that sources, including TMZ revealed that Ariana, and Frankie's grandfather died Tuesday. The site revealed that the show decided to keep the news from Frankie, so that it would not conflict the shows work.

Frankie a contestant on Big Brother, and Ariana, a popstar singer both lost someone special to them. TMZ explained that the reason the producers kept the passing away of Frankie's loved one a secret was so that he does not bail from the show if he found out.

According to the site that was the brother and sister's grandpa last wish, to keep his death a secret from his grandson, Frankie.

Ariana was aware of how precious time was with her grandfather, posting photos with him in the hospital. Frankie could not attend, due to rules of the show.

Ariana honored her grandfather's wishes by tweeting, "asked grandps last week if he wanted us to pull frankie off bb & he said "no way! he's gotta play the game even tho i don't understand it"

Frankie was finally told that his grandfather died, around 7 pm Wednesday night, according to TMZ. Frankie was told the sad news, in a letter.

According to the site, they revealed that bloggers tuning in to the "BB" live feed said that Frankie broke down in tears and shared the news with everyone else in the house. Some of the house guest started to cry as well.

It is rear that producers let the house guest know what is going in the outside world. Details are unknown at this time on who made the decision to let Frankie know the sad news.
