New Official Image of Ben Affleck as Batman in Batman v Superman Dawn of Justice

Fans have already posted images of Batman's full costume from Zack Snyder's upcoming Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice on the Comic-Con show floor, and now DC Comics has released another official image of Ben Affleck as the Caped Crusader.

The first photo Snyder released a few months ago featured most of Affleck's body and part of the Batmobile under a tarp. This latest photo, on the other hand, is a close-up of Affleck's face that gives a look at some of the details in the cowl and the weary look Batman will have in the movie.

"The filmmakers wanted to include this new cinematic version of the Dark Knight in the anniversary mosaic so it could be discovered by fans!" DC Comics wrote in a blog post. "The cast and crew behind Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice are excited to be a part of the 75th celebration!"

In related news, we could soon the Batmobile, and Affleck, in action! Filming on Dawn of Justice is underway in Michigan, and Batman-News notes an OLV report that businesses near Detroit's Corktown district have received notifications that a movie would shoot around Shelby Street from W Larned Street to Lafayette and Fort Street from Woodward to Washington Boulevad between Aug. 6th and Aug. 9^th. Unless another movie is shooting there, this is Dawn of Justice.

The residents and businesses have been told to expect lots of fast vehicles and smoke, but no explosions. Rumors have circulated about the crew filming a Batmobile chase this summer, so this could happen in a few weeks.
