Actress Megan Fox was on hand at the San Diego Comic-Con to promote Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

In the movie, she plays "ambitious journalist," April O'Neil who, according to Fox is, "a little less angsty, not darker, but a little less happy-go-lucky, super-sweet damsel in distress," than the original April.

While April is a a true professional, she works on fluff pieces, but only because people underestimate her.

"I couldn't possibly relate to that," Fox sarcastically said.

While she loved the role, Fox did have some dissenting opinions - she seems to wish she had more in the way of onscreen fight time.

"There was a lot of girl power that ended up on the cutting room floor, unfortunately," she said. "I had a really awesome scene where I was fighting The Foot Clan, but I think they were like, 'Why would a tiny journalist be able to kick so much ass?'

"So that got cut. But I have a moment, Shredder and I have a moment. Maybe it's badass, you tell me when you see it."

Fox also weighed in on motherhood, specifically her post baby bod with E! News. She was pregnant with her second child actor with husband Brian Austin Green while filming the movie: "Let me tell you: the first time I didn't do anything. I was just lucky and I was younger," she admitted. "The second time it wasn't coming off the same way."

Fox has since eliminated bread and most sugar from her diet to get the desired result.
