The cartoon gods are smiling upon us today as fans have been given a first look into the Family Guy-Simpsons crossover episode.

The episode, titled of course "The Simpson's Guy," will serve as Family Guy's season premiere, featuring the Griffin family making their way to the Simpsons' hometown of Springfield.

The clip was shown to audiences at the Family Guy panel during Comic-Con over the weekend, and after watching the hilarious video, viewers are going to be craving more.

When Peter Griffin's and Homer Simpson's worlds collide it looks like they are going to be fast friends, bonding over donuts, and seeming to make a better team than the "air force." Even Bart and Stewie seem to get along great, making prank phone calls together and hitting the pavement for some skateboarding fun.

However, the friendship looks like it could be in trouble after the two patriarchs get into an argument over Pawtucket Patriot Ale and Duff's beer, which leads to a pretty epic Peter vs. Homer fight.

Watch the 5-minute clip here to see the preview, and to get a special look at a surprise cameo by Bob from Bob's Burgers.

The crossover episode wasn't the only thing that the creative team behind Family Guy teased at this years Comic-Con. They also gave some insight into what viewers can expect to see this season, including episodes where Meg becomes a foot fetish model, Stewie getting knocked up with Brian's baby, Peter getting into a fight with Liam Neeson, and Jesus making his return to the series in an all-new Christmas episode.

Be sure to turn into the Simpson-Griffin mash-up episode when it debuts on September 28 on Fox.
