American Horror Story is gearing up to give fans one heck of a Freak Show.

The cast of the third installment of the horror franchise, Coven, was in attendance at this years Comic-Con in San Diego, where they had a panel discussion that focused mainly on the past season of the show. However, it did give a few clues into what viewers can expect when the series returns for its fourth season this fall.

Freak Show will take place in Jupiter, Florida and will follow the struggles of one of America's last remaining carnival sideshows. This season will see Jessica Lange's character, a German ex-pat who is managing the show, going to drastic measures to keep her circus alive.

Producer Tim Minear, along with stars Emma Roberts, Sarah Paulson, Kathy Bates, Michael Chiklis, Angela Bassett, and Evan Peters were all in attendance for the panel discussion, where we learned the following things:

- Chiklis will play Bassett's husband and Bates' ex-husband this season; cue the feud between these two again a la Madame LaLaurie and Marie Laveau.

- Bates, Peters, Bassett, and Conroy are all playing performers in the carnival, whom Lange has rescued over the years.

- This year's villain will rival Rubber Man, Bloody Face, and the Minotaur of seasons past and will "scare the s**t out of you," Minear promises.

- Emma Roberts will play Maggie, Paulson will play two-headed Siamese twins Bette and Dot, Bates stars as Effil Darling, Chiklis's character will be Wendell Del Toredo, Angela will star as Desiere Dupree, Evan is playing Jimmy Darling, and Lange's character will be called Elsa Mars.

- Paulson said her favorite character right now is Bette, saying "it feels very organic to me and I love her."

The new season of American Horror Story will premiere this October.  Readers, will you be watching? Tell us in the comments below.
