It has only been a few months since the Biebs finally turned 18 and legal, but he hasn't wasted any time adding to his body art collection- making this tattoo no. 6.

Bieber was spotted Monday night at LAX with a fresh, black design on the top of his right forearm. The new tattoo represents the Japanese Kanji symbol for music, and only measures in at a mere half-inch long (which still doesn't seem miniscule enough for the paparazzi to miss).

Back in June, Bieber made an appearance on The Late Show with David Letterman to promote his newest album, Believe. At the time he had just gotten some new ink to commemorate the success of the album, imprinting the word "BELIEVE" on the inside of his left forearm. Letterman, after clearly stating his opinion that he was not a fan of young Justin getting tattoos, asked the Biebs if he would please refrain from getting any more. Lots of good those wise words held over the young Bieber, given the amount of ink he has been sporting around LA.

Among his other tattoos are a bird etching on his hip which he received on his 16 birthday, a ribcage tattoo which flaunts the Hebrew word "Yeshua" which means "Jesus," an actual face portrait of Jesus Christ on his left leg calf, and the image of praying hands also located on his left leg.

Compared to the sizes of some of these former tattoos, the Japanese symbol doesn't even seem to make too big a difference in the Biebs' appearance, especially considering its location and minuteness. Given the short amount of time that seems to pass before Bieber decides to add some skin ink, don't be surprised to see a new design pop up out-of-the-blue.
