Fans who have been following the news on The Avengers: Age of Ultron likely know that the Hulk (Mark Ruffalo) will fight the Hulkbuster at some point during the movie. But how and why does this scene actually happen?

Robert Downey Jr. explained the situation in a video interview with Entertainment Weekly at Comic-Con. "Stark has set Banner up to be able to continue his good works in Stark Tower, and Tony has a project of his own," he said. "So, it's one of those things where it's like your second development team 'Hey, how is it going over there, that looks really nice and green; can I talk to you about this other idea I have?'"

Stark's idea is to create Ultron so that the "world doesn't have to count on" the Avengers. But of course, it "winds up not being a good idea."

"Bruce is dubious as to the moral psychology of this project idea of Tony's," Downey said. "And It's nice because it sets up a little bit of tension between us."

"It sort of blows up," Ruffalo added.

This tension apparently leads into the Hulk vs. Hulkbuster scene, so perhaps Tony Stark is the one who makes the Hulkbuster. Combine this with Ultron, his legion of robots and the twins, Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch, and there is a LOT happening in this movie.

What do you think will happen when the Hulk squares off with the Hulkbuster in Age of Ultron? Let us know in the comments below.
