The Maze Runner is looking like one of the biggest movies of 2014 thanks to positive reviews from a full film screening at San Diego Comic-Con and a sequel being announced as well. We were also treated to a new extended trailer for the upcoming movie, with a release date set for September 19, 2014. Let's take a look right here!
As you can tell from the following trailer, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1 has a strong competitor in the Young Adult novel movie adaptation genre.

As usual, the footage shown at Comic-con was more detailed and longer, showing our main character interacting with a creature of the maze. For now, all we can show you is the tantalizing extended trailer right here!

Also showcased at Comic-Con was concept art for this film's sequel, The Scorch Trials, which is the second book in the series from James Dasher. This sequel isn't confirmed, but director Wes Ball wants to start filming this fall for a quick turnaround.
The synopsis for this sequel is full of spoilers for the first film, which hasn't hit theaters yet; therefore we won't go into detail. Let's just say we're hoping it gets confirmed so that we can continue the exciting series!
