According to Denver Post, Grammer is requesting that the criminal and rapist remains behind bars. The site reveals that Grammer spoke via video conference from Denver, testifying at the parole board hearing for inmate Freddie Glenn.

Glenn was convicted of killing two men and Grammer's sister, Karen Elisa Grammer, and is currently serving a life sentence at the Buena Vista Correctional Facility. The board working the case is expected to make a decision Tuesday evening.

The site reports that Glenn, gave a tearful apology as he sat in front of a video monitor that showed Grammer on the other side.

Grammer asked the inmate why he never tried to contact him. Glenn replied that he and his family tried to reach out to the actor.

"I want to believe you have actually changed your life," Grammer told Glenn. "Things you say, I accept a lot of it."

Grammer's sister, Karen was killed on July 1, 1975, after Glenn and two accomplices took her from a Red Lobster restaurant in Colorado Springs where she was employed. Glenn's additional conviction includes two separate trials for the murder on June 19, 1975, of a motel cook Daniel Van Lone, 28, in a robbery in which Glenn only got 50 cents, and the June 27, 1975, killing of Army soldier Winfred Proffitt, 19, during a drug deal.

Glenn was sentenced to death, at first but his sentence was reduced to a life when Colorado's death penalty was overthrown.

Grammer said that his sister, Karen attended the same high school he did until her junior year, when she transferred to another school "because I was a pretty big deal when I was in high school," he noted.

"I accept that you live with remorse," Grammer expressed to Glenn. "But I live with tragedy every day."

In his last question, the actor asked, "If someone did to your sister what you did to mine, what would you think should be done to him?"

Glenn said: "I would be hurt, and I would be angry ... I would like to think one day I would forgive."

Glenn added that it has been almost 40 years since the killings happened, as Grammer responded.

"I understand it's been a long time," the father of six said. "I was 20 years old. I took different choices."

Glenn interrupted the Partners star, and apologized, explaining that he was young and made mistakes.

"Thank you," Grammer replied. "I accept your apology. I forgive you. However, I cannot give your release my endorsement. To give that a blessing would be a betrayal of my sister's life."

Grammer also gave a written testimony back in 2009 at a hearing for the rapist and killer. The parole board denied Glenn's request for parole.

"This is a butcher. This is a monster," Grammer wrote in an e-mail message sent to the parole board in during that time. "I can never escape the horror of what happened to my sister."
