'New Girl' Season 4 Spoilers- 'Veep' Star Reid Scott Joins Cast As New Love Interest For Jess

Are you ready to catch up with Jess, Schmidt, and the rest of the New Girl gang? Well we know we are!!

The new season is a little more than a month and a half away, but to get you through this extra long hiatus we have some juicy spoilers for you direct from the set.

As all of you diehard New Girl fans know, Jess (Zooey Deschanel) and Nick (Jake Johnson) are no longer together, so sad. However, this leaves a void in Jessica Day's love life, so we just have one question, who is going to fill it?

According to Glamour, Reid Scott is about to board the New Girl ship and will try to swoop in and steal Jess's heart.

The Veep star will appear in the season premiere on September 16, and will force Jess to vie for his attention against follow guest star Jessica Biel, who we have been dying to see back on our TV's since her days as Mary Camden on 7^th Heaven.

Also set to take center stage when the show returns this fall, is the matter of how Jess and Nick will cope with living together but being broken up.

"The best thing about these characters is that they're so great when they're at odds," Zooey explains to Entertainment Weekly. "Having conflict with them is good, and having [Nick and Jess] always being in love with each other but never really being able to get together [offers] so many possibilities."

The season four premiere of New Girl is scheduled for September 16 on Fox.
