Few things in the NBA are a formality, but it seems Kevin Love being traded to the Cleveland Cavaliers is one of those things. Another certainty is LeBron James usually gets what he wants, and if he wants Love, he will certainly get him. The Cavaliers know they must part with rookie Andrew Wiggins if they're to have a chance of getting their All-Star center. The deal cannot be completed until the end of August, because of Wiggins' rookie contract, however, reports have suggested it's a "done deal", and the NBA have dropped a clue that backs this up by removing Wiggins' rookie Cavaliers jerseys from their shop. Is this a smart trade?

The Cavaliers were optimistic they could get a good player in the draft, and they luckily got Wiggins, and they were optimistic they could talk to Kyrie Irving and James, convincing them to commit their long-term future, and they did just that. Now everything has gone their way, it leaves them with the power to make big things happen. Love could end up at any NBA team, with the Chicago Bulls, New York Knicks and Golden State Warriors all interested, but Love wants to play with James, and it looks like he'll get his way.

Usually a trade of this magnitude would of been completed prior to jerseys being put up for sale, but it's dragged on, meaning fans already have a Cavaliers jersey with Wiggins on the back. The NBA are bracing themselves for a backlog of complaints when the inevitable trade happens, meaning they have stopped selling them, dropping the biggest hint yet that this trade will happen one way or another.

Can James, Irving and Love win an NBA title for the Cavaliers?
