The Emirates Cup, created by Arsenal football club, has gained value each and every season. Arsenal were looking to win the two-day tournament, hosted entirely at their Emirates Stadium. It all went to plan on day one, but on day two it fell apart as Radamel Falcao ensured the Gunners would not send their fans home happy. After the AS Monaco star helped Valencia win the trophy ahead of Benfica, Arsenal and his own club, could he now move to the Premier League? The latest Premier League transfer gossip suggests he could move to Chelsea or Liverpool.

Day One:

Arsenal 5-1 Benfica

AS Monaco 2-2 Valencia

Day Two:

Arsenal 0-1 AS Monaco

Valencia 3-1 Benfica

On day one Arsenal beat Benfica 5-1, thanks to four goals from prospect Yaya Sanogo, however they fell to a 1-0 defeat on day two, as Valencia drew and won. With goals counting as points, too, the La Liga team won. Falcao's goal for AS Monaco was the difference between the two sides, and Arsenal couldn't handle him. Falcao has been linked with a move to the EPL, so could he come back to haunt Arsenal in the 2014/15 season?

Is the Emirates Cup worth winning, and can Arsenal bounce back from this setback? Will Falcao be in the EPL, France, or Spain? The star looks set to leave this summer, with Real Madrid the favourites to sign him, but the EPL clubs are likely to put up a huge fight to prize one of the best strikers in the world from their grasp.
