Anna Paquin vs Larry King Beef: 'True Blood' Star Defends Hubby Stephen Moyer, Called A 'Non-Practicing Bisexual' [Videos]

Outside of the popular HBO vampire drama, True Blood, actress Anna Paquin is married to co-star, Stephen Moyer, and the proud mother of twins. In an interview with reporter Larry King, Sookie Stackhouse has to defend her sexual orientation as she self-identifies herself as bisexual.

During Larry King Now, the legendary journalist appeared to be misinformed, almost confused about the starlet's sexuality. As the conversation steered away from nudity and and the show's intense sex scenes, the television reporter doesn't hold back and straight out asks, "Are you a non-practicing bisexual?"

US Weekly transcribed the heated debate as the Oscar winner responds with,"Well, I mean, I am married to my husband, and we are happy monogamously married."

King continues with, "But you were bisexual?"

Paquin keeps her composure and answers, "Well, I don't think it's a past tense thing. Are you still straight if you're with somebody? Doesn't mean you're not, if you were to break up with them or if you were to die."

The X-Men starlet then adds, "It doesn't prevent your sexuality from existing. It doesn't really work like that."

The Golden Globe actress clearly had to explain to the Shrek voice actor that your sexual preference does not dictate who you really are. The Almost Famous star has spoken before on her Twitter feed about LGBT equality.
