Over the last decade many fans have turned their attention to the ever-growing UFC, leaving boxing far behind. Although there's room for both, it's easy to see why one would be drawn to the octagon and its drama. With fighters like Jon Jones, Alex Gustafsson and Daniel Cormier around, the UFC has never been better, and it's hard to keep up with the action before they even step in the octagon. Jones and Alex have been exchanging words with one another, whilst Jones and Cormier came to blows at the Las Vegas MGM arena, taking their feud to an all-time high before they clash at the end of September.

On September 27 Cormier will look to beat Jones, but they couldn't take it past their promo-event this afternoon. The pair went toe-to-toe, and Cormier shoved Jones, and he retaliated, chasing him and knocking him down. The battle then finished via Twitter, with the two no longer able to physically get at one another.

Cormier tweeted "I won't let another man get in my face and put his forehead against mine. I will react every time. @jonnybones next time i will slap you" and Jones replied saying "yo, DC you suck. you suck. you gonna chop me over the neck and get beat up - And I had you on your back - what - in 6 seconds - you suck. you felt so weak."

Jones also said "Come on DC where was your takedown defense? I put you on your back in six seconds. Put some ice on that face DC, you got lots of interviews tomorrow/ Lol those baby punches from the bottom, I really hope you have more prepared than that for when I take you down again"

Cormier wasn't the only one on the end of it, with tweets a day earlier, being sent to Alex, saying "Yes Alex you cut me but you didn't win the fight. Focus on things you can control like recovery. You had your chance. Now please stop with the media stunts so I can focus on my next victim. thank you."

It seems like these fighters love Twitter, love fighting in the octagon and love fighting outside of it. What more do we need?
