New Batman vs Superman Dawn of Justice Report Says Aquaman Has Cameo Role

The back-and-forth saga of Aquaman's possible appearance in Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice continues, as a new report indicates the King of Atlantis will show up in the superhero blockbuster.

Batman-on-Film wrote a report based on some action on the set of the movie and included information on Aquaman, the Batmobile and the destruction from Man of Steel.

"'Aquaman' is indeed in the film and there was some sort of film test on a water set recently," the site notes. "The character has a very small role in the BvS." Former Game of Thrones actor Jason Momoa has been rumored to play Aquaman for months, but we still have no official confirmation from the studio.

"The car chase scenes that will take place this coming weekend  will not, most likely, include the Batmobile," according to the article. "Those pics online of Ben Affleck (sporting very gray hair on his temples) as Bruce Wayne involve a scene in the film where he's saving people after some sort of attack on Metropolis which causes a lot of destruction." "There's a very 'anti-Superman' theme to the film, which includes people marching in protest against him," the site reports. This makes total sense given the amount of destruction Superman helped cause while he was saving the world from General Zod in Man of Steel. Some citizens would embrace him, but others would likely be terrified of him and want him gone.

As always, take this report with a grain of salt until the studio or the actors make anything official.
