Momma Dee And Brian McKee Dating Rumors: Estranged Husband Of Drea Kelly Denies That He Is Dating 'The Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta' Reality Star

Wasn't it just yesterday that Momma Dee, and Brian McKee were on cloud 9 as they were the alleged new "IT" couple? MStars News has learned that the estranged husband of Hollywood Exes star, Drea Kelly is denying the dating rumors swirling around that he is in a relationship with Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta star, Momma Dee.

According to McKee's Instagram page, the reality star and inspiring singer uploaded a photo, with the caption that read, "To FAMILY, FRIENDS, FOLLOWERS, FANS and FOES....to EVERYBODY, I am making this "OFFICAL STATEMENT" to set the record straight!!!!!! I AM NOT and again I repeat, I AM NOT, IN A RELATIONSHIP WITH MOMMA DEE. We are not involved romantically or otherwise, we have NEVER dated. Our acquaintance is STRICKLY PLATONIC (FRIENDS ONLY)!!!!! I have ONLY the utmost respect for Momma Dee and we will continue to remain FRIENDS ONLY, no hidden agendas or motives PERIOD!!!! But this story can get confusing, because we previously reported that Madame Noire confirmed that Momma Dee was dating Drea Kelly's soon-to-be ex-husband earlier this week.

Now Madame Noire is getting more insight from McKee as he clears the record, and stats that his relationship with Momma Dee is strictly platonic.

“Well first of all, I have the utmost respect for Momma Dee and her family,” Brian said. “They’re really, really nice people. I actually got to meet them in Atlanta. We were both attending and working at the DUB Show, that’s where we met and that’s where those photos came from. There’s a photo earlier in that day of the both of us at the DUB Show. Then, there’s a photo of us later on at her house. That’s the photo that’s being shown around and it looks as though it’s just me there with her and we’re cozying up in the house. The truth of the matter is that there was a bunch of us that went there. My brother was there. Some friends of mine were there. You know, we all kind of went there and hung out.”

Brian explained that was not intending on embarrassing Lil Scrappy's mother, he adds that she is a good person, but just wants to clear his name, as he currently goes through a divorce from Drea, R Kelly's ex-wife.

“I’ve gotten to know her. She’s a really good person, really down to earth and we really have become friends, but we’re not romantically involved. We’ve been talking and that sort of thing, but I’m really just going through my divorce with Drea. I’m not really seeing anybody like that.”

He seemed clueless to how the relationship was turned into a romantic fling.

 “I don’t know how things got misconstrued or how it got out there that we’re dating because that’s just not true.” McKee continues, “I’ve met a lot of people in this business and again, she’s one of the nicest people I have met. She has been down to earth.”

He goes on to give his side to why he thinks Momma Dee was under the impression that they were more than friends.

“I think it was just miscommunication. Like I said, I speak to her maybe once or twice a week or sometimes not at all. Again, we’re not at each other’s throats. We’re not mad at each other, like I said, we’re cool. I’m not interested in throwing her under the bus because again, she’s a good friend of mine."

He continues, "I just didn’t want the public out there thinking that. Obviously, I’ve gotten a lot of bad press from the ‘Hollywood Exes’ thing and people thinking that I’m an opportunist and I’m trying to get on ‘Love & Hip Hop.’ I’m just not on that. I’m just not trying to do that, nor has ‘Love & Hip Hop’ or any of their producers approached me about being on the show. I also saw reports that I was going to be the next one going to the show. That’s just not true.”
