‘Parks And Recreation,’ ‘Breaking Bad,’ ‘Veep,’ & ‘The Daily Show’ Character Actors Unite To Celebrate Being ‘That Guy’ – Hollywood’s Unsung Heroes [VIDEO]

It's tough out there for a character actor, which is why the likes of The Daily Show's Rob Corddry, Veep's Matt Walsh, Breaking Bad's David Costabile, Scrubs' Donald Faison, and others, are uniting to celebrate Hollywood's "unsung heroes" – the character actor, or, "that guy from that thing" – in a new video from Entertainment Weekly.

Kicking off with Walsh describing what he faces on a day-to-day basis, the video goes on to deliver an important message to the Hollywood elite and the backing companies of various tentpole films in the insdustry: their time has come!

"There have never been more action movies," says Faison – okay, Turk from Scrubs. "Or big budget blockbuster movies in need of super heroes," he adds. Because of this, these actors are setting up a new camp ... in "Camp Character Actor." Yes, really, Marc Evan Jackson.

So, maybe its time we take these guys as America is? You know, the sometimes plump, slightly balding, brilliant actors they truly are.

While the video has some obvious hilarity to it, it is hard to overlook the fact that there's quite a bit of truth to it. Character actors are the unsung heroes in Hollywood. Being "that guy from that thing" is pretty important, because with out them, our favorite films and television shows would not be what they are.

Honestly, what would Breaking Bad have been without David Costabile's portrayal of Gale? I won't throw out any spoilers but viewers of the show know what I mean.
