Marvel Comics' 'Howard The Duck Omnibus Hardcover' - 'Guardians Of The Galaxy' Star Returns In October!

After showing up on the big screen twice, Marvel Comics will bring back the Master of Quack Fu to the comic book page. In a brand new printing, newcomers and even longtime fans will meet the wild waterfowl again in Howard The Duck Omnibus Hardcover. 

Created by Steve Gerber and Val Mayerik in the 1970s, the groundbreaking misadventures follows an ill-tempered 'funny animal' trapped on Earth. The talking waterfowl somehow managed to get kidnapped from his home planet, Duckworld, and found himself stranded amongst Earthlings. With no superpowers, Howard The Duck just has his razor-sharp wit to defend himself. 

The Omnibus edition will collect the essential pieces of Howard's history. From Adventures Into Fear #19 to Marvel Team-Up #96, the iconic Marvel stories will be put back into print. If you never read the comics, this a great introduction to the character. Over the years, the Duckworld resident has popped up here and there, especially in Marvel Zombies. 

The foul-mouthed creature starred in his own feature film back in the '80s. Audiences heard the voice of Chip Zien and saw Ed Gale in costume. Times sure have changed, especially with the recent special effects of Guardians of the Galaxy.  

Howard the Duck guest-stars in the summer blockbuster as a CGI creation. This time, Seth Green (Robot Chicken) plays the voice of the Marvel character in James Gunn's cinematic vision. Blink and you might miss his cameo appearance in The Collector's vault.
