English football is back, and the Premier League is just around the corner. The first order of business was the 2014 FA Community Shield. Every year the season begins with the winners of the FA Cup and the Premier League facing one another at Wembley Stadium, trying to win the first piece of silverware. Arsenal, the FA Cup holders, took on EPL holders Manchester City. The game was an epic encounter, and all eyes were on Arsenal's star player Alexis Sanchez. Arsenal proved too much for City, winning 3-0.

Both teams were entertaining throughout last season, and they're both tipped to be competing for many major honours this season. Despite the Community Shield being a 'friendly' fixture, teams are usually playing their best eleven players and looking to begin the winning habit ahead of a long, hard season. City and the Gunners do not like losing, and both played at full force hoping to lay the gauntlet, but it was Arsenal that delivered a display showing that they're the team to watch in the 2014/15 season.

There was many world class talents on show, but the one that attracted everyone's attention was Sanchez, Arsenal's new signing from Barcelona. Sanchez has become one of the best attacking players in the world, so many will wonder how he will fair against English opposition, and they got their first glimpse of him doing so.

Does winning the Community Shield matter, and can either of these teams win the Premier League, FA Cup, League Cup or UEFA Champions League? Arsenal look up for the fight, but can City wake themselves up in time?
