Ex-Beatles member, Paul McCartney, will be venturing out to new territory as he takes on the musical score for Destiny. The talented musician sweetens the deal with an all-new theme song for the highly anticipated videogame from Bungie and Activision.

The New York Times got the scoop that the Live and Let Die singer will be releasing his new single after the much-anticipated game is released. For the last four years, the Yesterday songwriter has been working on the soundtrack for the game, alongside Halo composer Marty O'Donnell and Mike Salvatori. Music lovers can expect a bombastic instrumentals with amazing guitar riffs, if you ask me.

The upcoming theme song has already been recorded with a 120-piece orchestra at the famous Abbey Road. Sir George Martin's son, Giles Martin, served as the conductor during the music session. Known for his work with Bjork, Lady Gaga, and U2, Mark Stent will be producing the untitled track that is themed to be about hope.

As reported here, Game of Thrones actor Peter Dinklage will be voicing a character in the game known as Ghost. After changes made from the Alpha Test, audiences won't be able to recognize Tyrion Lannister from his readings. Dinklage's voice has been filtered to sound robotic and more fitting for an artificial intelligence persona.

You can check out a snippet of the music here from the trailer:

Destiny is expected to arrive on PlayStation and Xbox on September 9. Readers, are you excited to her a new Paul McCartney song?
