Comic book scribe Brian Michael Bendis has been on a major winning streak, especially now that Guardians of the Galaxy has hit the Hollywood big screen. Now the Miles Morales: Ultimate Spider-Man writer teases on his Tumblr about an upcoming project with Hellboy creator, Mike Mignola.

As reported here, Morales continues playing the role of the wall-crawler in the Ultimate Universe. In the latest fourth installment, the teen superhero went head-to-head with Green Goblin, but who the hell is the other guy? After celebrating his creation's twentieth anniversary, Mignola continues Hellboy in Hell and has two upcoming spinoffs from Dark Horse Comics.

For all his Tumblr fans, the All-New X-Men writer posted an exterior page from his upcoming project. In its original presentation, without any coloring or lettering, we see the untouched artwork drawn in back and white inks.

Bendis writes, "My Mignola fanboygasm this week paid off! I was just slipped this never-before-seen Mignola cover for an unannounced project. Not Hellboy, not Hellboy In Hell..."

Because this is entirely "something else," we can only assume this is going to be a horror story and not a superhero tale. If you look carefully at the drawing, you will see a mysterious figure being swallowed up by a frightening plant/snake monster. The setting might take place inside a cave because of all the bats flying around.

No word yet if this upcoming comic title will be for Dark Horse of Marvel Comics

Brian Michael Bendis and Mike Mignola are working on a new project together. Readers, are you excited to see what these two comic book icons are coming up with?
