The Rock's Mother, Ata Maivia-Johnson And Cousin Involved In A Head On Collision By A Drunk Driver [PHOTOS]

MStars News has learned that The Rock's mom, Ata Maivia-Johnson and the actor's cousin were struck head on by a drunk driver this week, and survived, after photos of the accident were uploaded via Instagram.

The Hercules star uploaded the pic above with the photo caption that read, "My mom & cousin @linafanene were struck head on by a drunk driver this week - they lived. First reaction is to find the person who did this and do unrelenting harm to them. But then you realize the most important thing is my family lived thru this and we can hug each other that much tighter these days. Hug your own family tighter today and be grateful you can tell them you love them."

According to TMZ, The Rock's uncle, Afa revealed that Ata and Lina Fanene were driving home from an annual fundraiser their family runs, called the Usos Foundation Banquet, the alleged drunk driver crashed right into Dwayne Johnson's family members.

Both, Johnson, and Fanene were rushed to the hospital where Johnson received medial treatment and had to stay for 3 nights. Although the 65-year-old's injuries were not revealed, The Rock's uncle does recall the accident to be a "very scary scene."

TMZ reports that Johnson's white Escalade, whom she received for Christmas in 2012 was totaled, as well as the alleged drunk driver's car.

The Rock's cousin, is currently employed for WWE's NXT division uploaded photos of herself, along with The Rock's mother on their way to the fundraiser before the incident, and on of herself as Johnson visits the hospital, and as the two women recovers at home. 

She wrote, "On our way to the USOs Foundation Banquet....but first... Let's take a selfie! #PutYourSeatBeltOnAunty #Funny"

In the next photo Fanene wrote, "We are just a bunch of goof balls!"
