Rory McIIroy is proving the definition of "I'm focusing on my career right now" couldn't be more true. The 25-year-old has dominated golf on and off for years, but lately he's been untouchable. Is he getting his five-a-day, has he gained super powers? Nope, he credits his success to being away from his ex-girlfriend, tennis star, Caroline Wozniacki. The star golfer just won the PGA Championship, and rather than thanking those who helped them, he issued a clear indicator that he's now winning constantly because he's not being nagged 24/7.

The two were actually engaged, but it seems Rory believes it was for the better. He explained "I think what happened has been for the better in terms of my golf." Rory is currently the #1 ranked golfer in the world, and he explained why, saying "I've put a bit more time into it and it has refocused me. I mean, what else do I have to do now? I go to the golf course, I go to the gym and it's just my life at the minute."

Caroline won't be able to argue, as she's a mid-ranked tennis player, whilst her one-time hubby-to-be is the best golfer in the entire world. The pair broke up in May, and he has won 3 consecutive tournaments, including 2 majors in a row. Talk about getting your focus back. Could Caroline really of held him back in such a way?
