The Aug. 11, 2014 edition of WWE's Monday Night Raw emanates live from the Moda Center in Portland, Oregon and begins with Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman. The latter says he will soon be the advocate for the WWE World Heavyweight Champion after Lesnar beats John Cena at SummerSlam.

Heyman says Cena will receive a "history-making beating" on Sunday, but tonight Lesnar wants him to address Cena's fans. Heyman says bad things happen to good people when they face Brock Lesnar, and he shows more footage of Lesnar beating The Undertaker at WrestleMania 30.

Heyman says when Lesnar was a rookie in WWE, he beat The Rock for the championship and booted him out of WWE for six to eight months. He did the same to Hulk Hogan for a year.

Now, Cena is in the way, and Heyman tells the Cenation not to miss SummerSlam because when Cena says "you can't see me," he's telling the truth because Cena will be gone for a while after Lesnar gets his hands on him. Heyman then shows footage of Cena vs. Lesnar at Extreme Rules in 2012 and while Cena won the match, he lost the fight. Heyman says Lesnar was suffering from diverticulitis and was at 50 percent at best, yet he still demolished Cena. Now he's at 100 percent and will create a "Shakespearean tragedy" on Sunday.

Heyman then recites a poem. It is amazing.

Heyman then says this is Brock's house and after he has dinner, he's coming back home.

Roman Reigns comes out for a match with a mystery opponent. Corporate Kane comes out and tells him the Authority wants to see how he does facing two challengers. Rybaxel come out and Reigns wins when the duo assaults him outside the ring and won't answer the referee's count. They attack Reigns in the ring after the match but he gains the upper hand and nails Ryback with a Superman Punch. He then spears both members of Rybaxel.

Renee Young then interviews Reigns in the ring and he soaks in the crowd's cheers. He asks Portland if he's ready to face Randy Orton. The Viper claims Reigns stole something from him, but this Sunday he will take everything from him. Orton claims The Viper is back, but Reigns says a viper without its teeth is nothing but a worm. He tells everyone to "believe that."

Orton is backstage with Kane and says no one has gotten the job done against Reigns, but he will on Sunday. Kane says it will be one of the biggest challenges of his career, so the Authority wants him to be ready. He will face Sheamus tonight.

Seth Rollins faces Rob Van Dam and Mr. Money in the Bank wins with the Curb Stomp. After the match, Rollins notices a giant present in the party set for Hulk Hogan's birthday celebration. He hesitates for a moment and then walks away laughing. Dean Ambrose then pops out of the box and attacks Rollins, who disappears through the crowd. Ambrose grabs a microphone and says Rollins cannot run on Sunday, and for $9.99 he will get his money's worth.

Stephanie McMahon hits the ring and says she must always do what's best for the WWE Universe and the locker room. She mentions Daniel Bryan's injury and rehab and introduces his physical therapist, Megan Miller. She apparently has a confession to make, but she hesitates. Megan says she has gotten to know Daniel and Brie Bella and she and her boyfriend have even had dinner with them. She says she has tried hard to help him get back in the ring because it's what he loves to do, and he has an appreciation for the WWE and its fans.

Megan starts to tear up and says her boyfriend left her and she can no longer be Bryan's therapist because they have been having an affair. Stephanie hugs her and Brie comes running out. She gets in Megan's face and Stephanie says the wife is always the last one to know. Stephanie says Megan told her Bryan called Brie a dead fish and that after every physical therapy session, she would say "Yes! Yes! Yes!" Brie slaps Megan, then attacks Stephanie. She puts her in the Yes! Lock until officials separate them. Stephanie says they will not wait until SummerSlam and they will finish this tonight.

Jack Swagger (w/Zeb Colter) faces Cesaro and gets his former partner to tap out to the Patriot Lock. After the match, Colter cuts a promo on Rusev and Lana. He tries to do the "We The People" chant but Rusev's music cuts him off. Nothing happens, as they just stare at each other from the stage.

An interview airs with Chris Jericho and Bray Wyatt with Michael Cole, but Bray dismisses him immediately. Bray says Y2J was a scared little boy and asks if he can still see the disappointment in his father's eyes. He says Jericho tried to be a savior but can't even save himself. Wyatt says cannot dream because he just hears their screams, but he never claimed to be a savior. He does want to help people by hurting them because you have to scream at them until their ears bleed. He refuses to apologize and says he hates everything the world has ever created, including himself. He says Jericho exemplifies human's weakness and he will beat him at SummerSlam.

Jericho says he is not a savior, but he is a survivor because you never know what you'll get with him. He cannot promise which version will show up on Sunday but it will be bad news for Wyatt no matter what.

Divas Champion AJ Lee faces Eva Marie and Paige comes out almost immediately after the match starts. She skips around the ring and Eva Marie uses the distraction to roll up the champion for the pin. Paige gets a microphone on the stage and says she knew AJ would be upset when she pushed her off the stage on Smackdown two weeks ago, so she wrote an apology to the champion. Paige then recites a poem of her own about how she'll beat AJ at SummerSlam and leaves. AJ attacks Eva Marie at ringside to get her frustrations out.

John Cena comes out and mocks Heyman's "ladies and gentlemen" and "BROCK LESNAR" routine. Cena says Lesnar will give him the beating of a lifetime, but he will not win. He says Lesnar does not deserve the belt. Cena says he is not unbeatable and he will one day lose the title, but it will not be to Lesnar on Sunday.

Cena says he does not like Lesnar and calls him the most difficult and uncaring S.O.B. to ever walk into the locker room. Cena says the WWE is a business, and Lesnar's view of that business means he doesn't deserve the championship. The champ says he's heard the cheers, the boos and the claims that he can't wrestle, but every week he comes out with a smile on his face. Every week, a group asks when Cena turns and when he says enough is enough. When does he stop being about the wristbands and the sneakers? When does John Cena "unleash hell?"

Cena says to fight a beast, he must become one. So on Sunday, fans will see a John Cena he is not proud of, but he will do what he must to keep the title out of Lesnar's hands. Heyman said earlier this is Brock's house, but Cena says that is not what the belt stands for and everyone knows this is the fans' house. But for the sake of the game, the champ will play along and says there's a stranger in Brock's house right now. He challenges Lesnar to come to the ring and kick him out.

Nothing happens, and Cena goads him some more. Still nothing happens, and Cena says he will make history on Sunday by conquering the conqueror. He will be the one that beats the one.

Brie Bella comes out for a match with Stephanie, but the principal owner is not in ring gear. She says they have to wait to SummerSlam after all, if she even makes it to the pay-per-view. Megan has decided to press charges, and two cops arrest Brie. Stephanie mocks her and says she'll see her at SummerSlam if she makes bail.

Intercontinental Champion The Miz is on commentary for Dolph Ziggler's match with Heath Slater. Ziggler hits the Zig Zag on Slater but Miz runs in before he can make the pin. Ziggler attacks Miz at ringside but cannot get back in the ring before the referee counts him out, so Slater wins. Ziggler comes back in the ring and extends his hand. Slater reaches for it and then tries to kick Ziggler, who catches his foot and hits another Zig Zag.

Orton faces Sheamus and gets the pin when hits the RKO as the United States Champion tries to come off the top rope.

The locker room comes out on the stage to celebrate Hulk Hogan's birthday. Mean Gene Okerlund is in the ring with Jimmy Hart and he brings out Hogan. They show a video package of Hogan's career and even some childhood clips. Hogan is practically speechless but he manages to get out a $9.99 joke when he says Vince McMahon gave him that exact amount of money to subscribe to the WWE Network to watch SummerSlam on Sunday. He says this has been the greatest birthday of his life and thanks everyone for making it happen. Hogan says he has started to reflect on a few things, and he hopes he has touched the fans in a small way because they have affected him so deeply.

Ric Flair's music hits and he heads to the ring. Mr. Wonderful Paul Orndorff then comes out, followed by "Rowdy" Roddy Piper and the other two members of the New World Order, Kevin Nash and Scott Hall. Hall says "Hey yo" and says he and Nash are honored to be here for Hulk's birthday. He says Hulk looks good in the red and yellow, but asks the crowd if they'd like to see him in the black and white. Hogan tears his shirt off to reveal an nWo shirt. Nash says he has done a lot of things in his career, but not what he's about to do. He sings a few bars of Happy Birthday to Hogan, but Brock Lesnar's music hits and he comes out with Paul Heyman.

Lesnar staes down each of the men in the ring and gets right in Hogan's face. Heyman asks "What'cha gonna do?" and Lesnar says "Party's over, grandpa." Cena rushes the ring and gets ready to fight. Heyman screams at his client not to engage, and they both leave the ring. Lesnar backs up the ramp and he stares Cena down as the show goes off the air.
