Who ever said sports can get boring? Liverpool football club have recently lost Luis Suarez, but it seems like they may have a star-studded team after all. Owner John W. Henry, owns the Boston Red Sox, the current MLB World Series holders, but he may receive some superstar help. NBA superstar LeBron James currently owns a percentage of the club, and it seems that pop princess Rihanna is bored with music, and wants to become a part owner of Liverpool. This might be strange, but surely having all of these names linked to the great club can't be a bad thing, can it?

Liverpool finished second, behind Manchester City in the 2013/14 Premier League, but they're hoping to go one better this season. Even though they sold their star man, Suarez, they're confident that they can recapture last seasons magic. They may have the supporting cast away from the field, but do they have it on the field? Liverpool already have James and Henry's NBA and MLB winning influence, as well as their own winning heritage, but now they might add one of the finest popstars the music industry has ever seen to their ranks.

During the 2014 World Cup the beauty live-tweeted about many of the games, and it seems her new found love of soccer won't stop there. It's believed she wants to get involved in a team regardless, but she prefers Liverpool. It's unlikely she could take over the entire club, but could she find herself in a similar role to LeBron? It's believed her friend, Chelsea player, Didier Drogba, has told her Liverpool are the club she needs to get involved with.

What do you think of Liverpool's star-studded ownership plan? Can it bring success to the field?
