"Basketball Wives of L.A." reality star, Draya Michele is not being blamed for ex-boyfriend and NFL athlete, Orlando Scandrick's four game suspensions after testing positive for MDMA.

According to DallasNews.com, Scandrick cleared his ex of any involvement in his decision to take the drug, "To clear up those rumors, I wasn't persuaded nor was I drugged. I simply just made a bad choice." He added, "It was just a bad decision, I should have never done it. I didn't do it with the intent of knowing that it would test positive."

He stated, "I know we get random tests but I mean, I don't take anything to enhance my performance. I wasn't taking anything to enhance my performance. I was notified that I had to take a test while I was out of the country. I called them and told them I would not be back and I voluntarily gave them my specimen."

According to ESPN, the NFL star will lose $1 million in total for the missed games and in a statement released by his rep, the Cornerback apologized to his family and team and revealed that the drug was given to him unknowingly while on vacation in Mexico (same trip he traveled to with the reality star).

"I would like to apologize to my children, my family, the Jones family, my coaches, my teammates and my fans. Failing a drug test is far out of my character, and although I never knowingly took a performance-enhancing drug/banned stimulant while on vacation in Mexico, I take full responsibility for what goes in my body and more importantly for the embarrassment of a failed drug test. It's my goal by issuing this statement to clear my name and more importantly to be judged by what happens to me in the future." The statement read, "I hope that my family, my Cowboys football family and all my fans can forgive me for this situation. I look forward to a successful 2014 season."

According to ESPN sources, the athlete allegedly blamed Draya for the drug being in his system, "Sources told ESPN's Eric Werder that the violation occurred while Scandrick was vacationing in Mexico with an ex-girlfriend, whom he has claimed persuaded him to add a substance he didn't realize was on the banned list into a cocktail they were drinking."

Draya defended herself via twitter claiming she had no parts for the suspension, "'Sources' say I drugged this man ..... People have written statements taking responsibility for their actions .... Never once blaming me." She added, "I'm not to blame .... I've been supporting him since April when this happened. And I will continue to support him."

After deleting her previous tweets, the reality star expressed that her name was being dragged in Orlando's personal matter out of spite, "If someone says to you "all you care about is your image" .... Be careful, they might try to ruin it." She added, "It was so easy in the past to tarnish my own name, and I work hard every day trying to make better choices to clean that up."
