According to a new interview with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles director Jonathan Liebsman and producers Brad Fuller and Andrew Form, the summer blockbuster's sequel (which has a 2016 release date set) could feature some fan-favorite characters! Though the team was hesitant to make any promises, some ideas for TMNT 2 include Krang, Casey Jones, and Bebop and Rocksteady - and possibly Dimension X.

"I think what we need to do is we need to see how the movie does," Fuller said after the alternate dimension was brought up. Luckily for us, the Michael Bay production is doing incredibly well at the box office, so anything is possible for the sequel!

Fuller added: "We've talked about those worlds already."

"We're just finishing the movie but we all wish that we could put everything into the movie. We all have other characters that we wish we could have had in this movie ... Casey Jones. Bebop and Rocksteady. We had those conversations throughout development of this movie but we're launching this movie now in two weeks," Form said last month about trying to fit in characters for fans. "Hopefully everybody feels the same way we do [about it]. We love them [Bebop and Rocksteady]."
