Now that's how you pay tribute to someone!! In the wake of Robin Williams' death the cast of the Broadway musical Aladdin took the time out from their show during Tuesday's performance to honor the original genie that starred in the classic Disney animated movie of the same name.

The lyrics to the song "Friend Like Me" were stuffed inside each audience member's playbill, and when promoted by the James Iglehart, who plays the genie in the musical adaption, the whole crowd broke into song. The theatre echoed in a sing-a-long of the famous words that Robin Williams sang in the 1992 film.

For everyone's enjoyment, an audience member captured the moment and uploaded it to YouTube.

"Yesterday we lost one of the greatest, not comedians, but one of the greats entertainers of all time," Iglehart explained in the video. "So we are only going to do this once, because we don't want to drag something on, because first and foremost we want to give our hearts, and our prayers, and our thoughts to his family, because he's a husband and a father first and an entertainer second. But for tonight, I want us to sing a little bit of "Friend Like Me" before we go."

This isn't the only tribute Broadway is making to the late actor. According to the Associate Press, the Broadway lights were all dimmed on Wednesday at 7:45 in remembrance of the great actor.

Williams was a veteran of both the screen and stage, as he appeared on Broadway in 2002 in Robin Williams: Live on Broadway and also was featured in 2011's Bengal Tiger at the Baghdad Zoo.

Williams committed suicide early this week after battling depression for many years.
