Nicki Minaj To Perform New Single, 'Anaconda' At 2014 VMAs Next Sunday [DETAILS]

Next Sunday's 2014 MTV Video Music Awards performance list is going to be good!! MStars News has just learned that Nicki Minaj is scheduled to appear during the Aug. 24 music awards, that already includes singers like, Taylor Swift, Beyonce, Justin Timberlake, and more.

"The VMAs is a pretty big deal so people go all out for it," Minaj said, according to E! "I am very, very excited and looking forward to the performance."

Fans are probably anticipating Nicki Minaj's performance. The site reveals that Minaj will hit the stage to perform her new single Anaconda for the first time from her highly anticipated album, The PinkPrint, that will be released later this year. Does that mean pink thongs will be involved?

The Pill N Potions singer received a lot of controversy when she released the "bootylicious" photo cover for the track. Minaj, stroke a pose showing off her dark hair, along with her Air Jordans, in a pink sports bra, and a pink G-string thong.

"Well you know, in the beginning of my career, I did pictures like that, I did photo shoots like that," she expressed to Ryan Seacrest during an interview on his radio show. "And I didn't want to lose that sense of who I am."

"I feel like one of the people I look up to the most was Madonna, and she's never stopped pushing the envelope," she adds. "She's never stopped taking risks, and I don't ever want to stop doing that either."

Minaj is rumored to be also be performing the Flawless remix, with Beyonce.
