'RHONJ' Melissa Gorga Making $1 Million From 'Real Housewives Of New Jersey' & Book 'Love Italian Style'

It pays to be from the Garden State. The Real Housewives of New Jersey star Melissa Gorga is reportedly making bank from her book deal as well as her appearance of the sixth season of the hit Bravo series. Her book, Love Italian Style: The Secrets Of My Hot And Happy Marriage, along with her earnings from RHONJ have both pushed her into the million-dollar salary range.

"Melissa Gorga is making over $1 million right now," a source revealed to RadarOnline. "Her salary and her book sales have pushed her into a 7-figure earning bracket."

While here sister-in-law Teresa Giudice and other costars are reportedly having money issues, it looks like Melissa is doing very well for herself.

"Unlike Teresa, she isn't worried about her finances because she has been quietly making good money and doesn't have nearly the expenses that the Giudice's do," the source explained.

Teresa and her husband Joe Giudice are currently waiting to be sentenced on charges for fraud and tax evasion, and are reportedly in "dire financial trouble."

The series alone is paying Melissa $250,000 for being part of the sixth season.

"Melissa has negotiated good deals with Bravo," an insider tells the news site. "They've been willing to pay her well because she delivers the drama each season."

Despite reports that Melissa and her husband Joe Gorga were running into finance trouble when it comes to the building of their dream home, it looks like with Melissa paycheck alone, they can start construction on the project again.
