WNBA Superstar Brittney Griner Propses To Basketball Girlfriend Glory Johnson- See The Cute Instagram Engagement Picture

It's engagement season. Phoenix Mercury player and WNBA superstar Brittney Griner is ready to settle down, as she has just proposed to her girlfriend Glory Johnson, who played for the Tennessee Vols. Griner was kind enough to document the proposal by posting pictures of her popping the question on her Instagram page.

Griner got down on one knee, in front of what looks like friends and family members, and surprised Johnson with a diamond ring in a white box.

And from the picture, it looks like Glory was in complete shock, but happily said yes.

The WNBA star captioned the image, "Last Night was a Night to Remember I became the happiest person on this earth! (almost pass out but when that one word came out I came back to life) Me and my baby @missvol25 are in it for Life!"

According to E! News, the newly engaged power couple of basketball are definitely a force to be reckoned with on the court as Griner has been named the WNBA All-Star for the her team, and was also the 2012 AP Division 1 Player of the Year. Her fiancé, Glory was also named Player of the Year in 2012 in the SEC Defense category.

This is the second celebrity LGBT couple that have gotten engaged in the last few days, as we reported earlier that Big Bang Theory star Jim Parsons proposed to his boyfriend Todd Spiewak who have been dating for 12 years.

Congrats to the gorgeous couple.
