The 2014/15 Premier League has started, and after one day the world of football has already gone crazy. Wayne Rooney and Louis Van Gaal led Manchester United out to face Swansea City, whilst Aaron Ramsey and Arsene Wenger led Arsenal out to take on Crystal palace. News broke that Everton star Ross Barkley will be out through injury for around half a year. What a crazy start, right? It's only day one, of many, many more exciting days.

United were hoping to start life with a win under Van Gaal, but despite a Rooney goal, they lost 2-1 to Swansea City. United are now set to make several new signings to bolster their struggling squad. Arsenal, a title contender, had a different start. Thanks to Ramsey, Wenger's men got a 2-1 win, showing they can pull together when it counts. Can Arsenal win the league, and will Van Gaal sort his team out?

Everton had some bad news, finding out that Barkley would miss nearly half a year through injury. The talented player has been great for both club and country (England), and he was tipped to become an elite superstar. Could this injury be a harm on his long-term career? Everton need him back fit and ready as soon as possible if they're to contend this season.

Can Arsenal or Manchester United win the EPL title? Will Everton cope without Ross Barkley? Day one has already thrown surprises at the fans, so what can they expect from day two, and then the rest of the 2014/15 season?
